What’s Included in Each Weekly Food Box
Each weekly food box provides 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child, giving families a full week of meals. Boxes include a combination of shelf-stable, refrigerated, and frozen items that are kid-friendly, easy to prepare, and nutritious.

Breakfast items such as milk, juice, pastries, or cereal
Lunch options like sandwiches, pasta meals, fruit cups, and snacks
Shelf-stable and refrigerated foods to ensure safety and convenience

Who the Program Serves
The Summer Feeding Program supports children and families throughout participating Tennessee counties during the summer months. The program is designed for families with school-aged children, children who rely on school meals during the academic year, communities with limited access to food during summer break.
No child should go hungry simply because school is out—and this program exists to make sure that doesn’t happen.
